Mediocre.

Back to since I'm able to remember, I've always been on top of things. Not to say extraordinary, but always above par. I was among the tallest in class, the school athlete, the best student, the basketball team captain. the house captain, the teacher's pet, and the prefect who played truant. Complete package. But things have changed now. I am surrounded by a group of the most intelligent minds in the country so to speak, and I cant help now but feel like a commoner. Its not high school anymore.

We got back our result scripts earlier this week and even though I knew I had done badly, seeing it in black and white was worse. On top of that, seeing everyone else breeze through it as though it were as simple as ABC just adds to the woes. At the rate I'm performing, it's freakinglutely disappointing, I might as well puke on my test papers. Not being in the top half of the class and being considered as an average student has gotten me agitated to a point that I sometimes hyperventilate. Its hard to find an outlet sometimes because friends who knew me from high school would always just laugh it off and tell me I have nothing to worry about, 'alaaa peja, tak study pun takpe'. 'Peja, best student SPM, derh.' Guys, I'm telling you, ITS NOT THE SAME. How does the top student for SPM2006 get a D for Biology?

On the other hand, the alevels deparment in UCSI will be having our annual dinner tomorrow night. Its only gonna be here in the UCSI multi-purpose hall and yeah, I know it sounds lame but heck, its gonna be our last dinner for us JPA students together so I summon ALL of youuuu. COME! Tear yourselves away from Transition Chemistry and lets just enjoy one night of glitz and glam before we all go our separate ways eh? :)

P/s: Still not too late to get tickets from me!
See you there!
