A weekend well spent!

I couldnt sleep last night. My nose was blocked AND runny, my head felt like it was on fire and I was sweating profusely eventhough I had the air conditioning on at full blast. Symptoms of an oncoming fever dont you think? Urgh. I had seen it coming though. The heat, the drought. Mr sore throat and Miss Influenza were just bound to strike.

But, I had a WONDERFUL weekend!

This entry is probably gonna be a long one so just bear with me ok

We had wanted to do something for Wen's birthday and I thought, why not have a picnic! I mean, we do have beautiful, unappreciated weather here in Malaysia, I wasnt in the mood to go to crowded malls and plus, lets do something different for a change right?

I had so much fun that day. Soooo many pictures :D

Then after, we went to support Dann for tarik tali at UIA.

So we were sitting like this:

And suddenly a 'brother' and 2'sisters' come up to us and say
"eh rapat tuuu.''

And so Faiz goes

''oh mintak maaf...''

and the brother says

''Oh takpe. Tak perlu mintak maaf dengan saya. Mintak dengan Tuhan''

yessssssssss. HAMIK KAU.

So, us girls were exiled to the edge of the field while the guys got to stay. What was irritating though, while were were off limits to support our friend, these 'sisters' were screaming 'words of encouragement' from tengah padang ok! WTF!? So after that drama at UIA, we went for drinks at Jaya One's Secret Recipe for Ines's treat. Wen finally got his birthday cake and his sing-song. We had a few laughs and everyone parted ways.


My day was not over yet as I had Mr. Tan's chinese new year barbeque to attend. We got angpows! :)
