You know, after the 20th of August, this post was supposed to be a detailed account of my journey to Manchester. But after collecting my results that afternoon, with a huge grin on my face, the failed prank I tried to pull on my parents about the results, the endless phone calls made and received, and congratulating friends on their excellent results, I found nothing more to say.
On Thursday, exactly one week before results were due out, I was still sitting on my ass, planning the trip to Melaka to have ikan bakar. Come Monday, I was still lazing about at home, although I did feel a tingle of worry-ness. In the wee hours of Thursday morning, the day itself, I would have expected to not be able to sleep mulling over how my results would turn out, and instead I was already sleepy by midnight. It only really struck me that today would either make me or break me at breakfast, when Wanie told me she had already got her results.
The thought of not being able to make it hurt to the bone. What excuse will I give? How was I going to look my parents in the face? How was I going to face all my friends? What about backpacking around Europe? How about getting season tickets to Old Trafford? What about walking through the streets of London? worse, what would happen to me after? All these were the stuff playing back and forth in my head like a broken radio.
Alhamdulillah everything turned out as expected , even better might I add! :D *beams*
So what's next? It's me, my lugagge and Manchester ohh! :)
And I would like to wish all muslims, Selamat Menyambut Bulan Ramadhan Al-Kareem.
