Quickie!

Everytime I try to sit down and write a new post, I always end up procrastinating and eventually I've got loads and loads of story to tell, yet so little space to write in. I've kinda been doing a lot of traveling lately which also translates into me, being broke for the next couple of weeks! I think, since I last wrote, I've been to Stoke, to spend the weekend with the Olivers, York, for sightseeing with Pauline, and in Cardiff to see the Ninian girls ! :D

A weekend at the Olivers' residence in classic Old Endon, Stoke, was just what I needed for a break from the stress of exam revision. I got the train, took a window seat and half an hour (and countless sheep) later, I was in Stoke. Rowan and Ben were there to meet me and we spent the day just wandering the streets of the nearest town, Leek . It was a nice quiet little town where tortoises were faster than people. It was really nice. I visited the stables, had tea at Ben's and just watched a home movie with the whole of the Oliver household (including Kitty the Tabby Cat! ). To be honest, I was a bit nervous going over, but the Oliver's were genuinely very nice people and made me feel very welcomed! Anddd, I acted like a proper guest, with the 'please', and 'thank yous' and now I'm invited for Easter!

And then there was York. Spontaneous, and a hella lot of fun ! It was only me and Pauline but we enjoyed ourselves on the ruins of the York wall, and a big lunch at the local Pub! The weather did not help at all though. It was effing freezingggggg and by the end of the day, I could hardly feel the end of my nose!

Cardiff for the weekend was pretty much fun in the sun! I brought really nice weather onto the land of the dragon and it was sunny all day so we had no problem sightseeing ! It was really nice to see the girls who I havent seen since most probably last October and just chill . Ili cooked ayam masak lemak which was deeeeelicous! :) Thanks for the hospitality girls ! Will be waiting in Manchester for you guys ! :)

And so with that, I think I summed up January pretty well . Enjoy the pictures! :) xx
