Manchester Games & Rendezvous with the dents.

Last Saturday the Malaysian Students Soc of Manchester held its annual Manchester games. Not such a great turnout as it clashed with the more renowned Sheffield Games but equally exciting ! :) I dint take part in any of the events as they dint have basketball for girls. I tried to push it with the committee but the were skeptical of being able to get team participation . Nevermind, i'll try again next year.


I volunteered to help out at the Food fair, held in the Steve Biko building (Student Union), selling Krispy Kreme's for the society. Sale was pretty good which is the opposite of what I can say for my voice ! By the end of the fair, my throat felt itchy and sore and worst part was, I still had the Dental Ball to go to !


That aside, the Casino Royale 007 themed Ball of 2010 was definitely THE highlight of the year so far. Everyone who came made an effort to dress up. The girls looking classy in gowns and dresses and the boys all dapper in their tux. There was champagne, roulette, photoshoot, towering chocolate fondues, a live band nad the dancefloor. Kudos the the Lowry Hotel for making it a success ! It actually reminded me of the UCSI prom we had in college! awhh, I miss the girls ! x
