Double the twos.

I turned 22 last week.

This is me, being twenty-two.

I actually dreaded my birthday this year. Being reminded that I was closer to 25 and further away from 20 was not something I looked forward to. So when Adli told me he was just taking me out to dinner, I actually WANTED him to JUST take me out for dinner. Instead he had other plans. His reason: ''I wanted you to get lotsa presents''.

True dattt! I did get loads compared to last year. So I wasnt one to complain! :DDDDD
He had got a few.. (well a few would be an understatement) of our friends together for a nice sit-down at the restaurant. I had fun dressing up and being all pretty for the night and apparently so did he - as you'll see from the pictures. Ha-Ha. Mentioning pictures, they're up on facebook but since I uploaded it using one of my new birthday presents, *winks* the album sometimes comes on and off as it pleases so if you really want to see it, please be patient.

Birthday wishes came in all forms and sizes! Texts, calls, Facebook wall comments and even in true old-skool style: the post. I enjoyed reading every single one of them although I dint know whether I had to time to reply to each and every one personally. So, I came up with a system: to those who called, or texted me personally, I replied with a short thank you message cause it felt really personal that you guys took the time to wish me. To those who just kinda wrote on my wall, I ended up liking your wishes cause lets face it, its facebook and some of you might not even have remembered if it were not for the facebook alerts. But hey, thank you all the same ! :)

It was a night of good food and good company. I'll leave you all with pictures cause you know what they say 'it tells a thousand words' :))
