The weather is starting to pick up a bit in Manchester and around parts of the UK. We get mostly good days in a week, now that spring is here (better late than never!) and with most of the students here getting to the end of exams, the parks are starting to fill up with colors - and I'm not talking about just the flowers! The mat sallehs here flock out in droves whenever the sun is out, in their colorful bathing suits and maxi dresses, and I can understand why. The UK weather can be the most depressing thing at times, with its signature grey skies and drizzly rain, 8 out of 12 months a year! Lol, ok I might be exaggerating, but you get my point. And over the lovely weekend, everyone had pretty much the same idea... barbeques and picnics!
The weekend was eventful, with the girls coming up from Cardiff for some much needed catch up and also the annual Mancunians barbeque. I'll share a few more photos later in the week, when I actually finish finals but here are some teasers.
