To appreciate.

Being a mother is probably the most selfless thing a woman could ever do. There's a lot of give, give, give but not much you can take. Like how she gives up most of her sleep time when her babies are crying through the night. Like how she gives in to the persistent shopping needs of her daughters (hehe) and like how she gives her heart and soul into wanting the best for them even if they dont agree with her most of the time.

My mum probably has the toughest job in the world. Not only sweating (and probably screaming) through labour to bring four Uh-mazing daughters into this world but also putting up with all our little fights and squabbles, our hard headedness and our constant need for money and materialistic things. Yet, she does it all with a smile/smirk on her face (most of the time. hehe)

Happy Mother's day Mama. I love you with all my might and I promise to make you the proudest a mother could ever be. Thank you for your constant nagging reminders, your never-ending support and most of all your unconditional love.

Love,
Arguably, your sweetest, most lovable daughter.

To them!

This picture taken circa summer, 2010 made me smirk. Mum and dad are celebrating their 27th wedding anniversary today and words cant even begin to describe the feelings I have for these two people right here. I think they absolutely deserve some sort of medal or award for being able to put up with four temperamental daughters, like my siblings and I, plus all the curve balls that life has thrown at us and our little family.

I am thankful to the heaven and stars that I have gotten to enjoy their presence for the last 23 years of my life and I pray to Allah that he blesses them with good health physically and mentally cause just the very thought of losing one of them would destroy me.

So on this day, Mama, Ayah - Happy 27th Anniversary! May this sacred union between the two of you last a lifetime, dunia and akhirat. I love the both of you equally and unconditionally and I hope you know that! :)

Lots and lots of love,
Angah xx
