That day in September when my sister tied the knot...

So....

The past summer back home in KL has been eventful! My sister finally got married and after what seemed, endless ceremonies and receptions, the whole family (including my aunts, uncles and cousins) can finally heave a deep sigh of relief that everything went accordingly with very few glitches. I dont share as much when it comes to my family as I want to respect their privacy, but I'll make an exception for this one. ;)

I went home for the summer assuming that they needed help with preparations and all but I was on the other hand surprised at how much that had actually been done. Catering, invites and itineraries had all been prepared an there was only the door gifts and the wedding presents (hantaran) to be settled. Even that had been delegated to all the aunties, uncles and cousins which we definitely werent short of. My dad has 8 siblings and my mum, six in total. So just imagine the size of our extended family. If anybody is looking for an event team, let me know! LOL

We're pretty close even as an extended family but besides the once a year eid celebrations, we never see each other enough as it can be hard when everyone is living in different places (like me who's halfway across the other side of the world). So its pretty fun to have an excuse to get together... especially for something like witnessing my sister marry her first love. Those two are pretty cute together, I must say.

I havent got pictures from the official photographer yet but these are some from the family cameras.

Congratulations, Along! I love you...
