Hello Tuesday!

Hey there, Tuesday. My day off which is annoying because it isnt quite like having a 3-day weekend but one that I am thankful for nonetheless. Days are so long during the weeks in fourth year (mind you its only been the first week back) that I finally realize why my working friends back home cherish their weekends so much! 

This weekend, was a little bitter sweet. Sweet due to the fact that adli came up to collect the rest of his stuff (two weeks seem to drag on when he's not around) and bitter due to the fact that he had to leave again for London. I had high hopes that I was gonna try and make him stay, (ha!) but when he told me stories of life in London over dinner, very enthusiastically that was, I was convinced he was having so much fun there which made me feel bad about wanting him with me in Manchester! He gets so passionate about his work that its such a turn on! :p

We did, however, have a really nice catch up while helping him pack his stuff away. And that alone, (just being able to help him) kinda made up for all of it.

Other weekend activities include watching my favorite team lose a winning home-streak against Spurs (not fun), some cleaning and tidying up the room and house on the Sunday, with a little trip into town on my bike (finally fixed!) today. I was serious when I said that I was gonna start another scrapbook, so I went into Paperchase and bought myself a really cute artsy notebook which seemed like it was made for my scrapbook-in-mind. What I love most about it is that its got clear hold pockets, to put bits and bobs in which I have loads of from my travels!
