#SummerBomb continued - Roadtrippin'

Hello! Hope you had a great week! This is a bit late but I've been so occupied during the week its difficult trying to keep this blog updated. Last weekend for me was another spontaneous one as my friends and I decided the night before, "oh why dont we go for a roadtrippp... tomorrow!" So being the yes woman I am, it dint take much to convince me. Here are a few photos from the weekend...

We first started off with a stop by drive down to Llandudno (pronounced Clandudno) as we've heard how pretty and quaint the little town by the sea was. It didnt disappoint. We got there pretty late in the evening so all the shops in town had closed for the day so we made our way to the shoreline and walked all the way to the end of the pier which was like a gazillion kilometres long and just hung out taking in the salty sea air whilst reflecting on the the past year for all of us. We just got caught up in the truly peaceful ambience.

We spent the night in Cardiff just to say hi to the girls before making our way to prettytown Bath the following day. They were the best hostesses and even made us packed lunches for the day! I cant believe they'll be graduating this year and leaving me! If there was one regret I have was that I didnt make enough effort to come see them more often. Congratulations on graduating ladies, tabarakAllah

I had been to Bath before when I was very young but I didnt remember it to be that beautiful. Lol. We were only there for a couple of hours but we managed to see all that we wanted to see. Tour the Roman Baths..check! Hang out in the sun pretending to be mat sallehs at The Royal Crescent...check! Pose by the Pulteney bridge with its weird whirlpool-ish structure..check!

From Bath, we headed to LANDAAAANNNN! Lol I told you I would be back and this time round, with these two goonies, made it so much fun! Our aim was to conquer all the vintage markets and artsy cafes London had to offer before Ramadhan. So first stop just had to be Portobello Road! The Saturday market is just toooooo mucchhhh! We were spoilt for choice for all the vintage and cute stuff on sale and if it wasnt for my ever draining bank account, I think we would have needed a pick up truck to take our shopping back to Manchester, although we came awfully close with Syasya and Lisa's shopping!

^^Satisfied our churros craving and ate them on someone's doorsteps just cause their houses were so pretty.^^

We spent Sunday with our London host, Nabila who took us to Spitalfields and Brick Lane Sunday market where again we spent them cash like nobody's business. Lisa even managed to max out her credit card bargain hunting for herself and the family back home! and because we had a pro Londoner with us, we travelled London mostly by bus and it was definitely much more fun being able to see the sights above ground for a change.

And this is our host, the Kak long of London making sure we're on the right track. She's been here for nearly 6 years and she knows London like the creases on the back of her hand! I know she hates free publicity, but if you're looking for a friendly, chatty tourguide, I'll definitely recommend her! Lol but she's leaving for good soon, so hurry! That evening, she took us to her favorite getaway spot, Primrose Hill. People littered the park like moths to a flame being that the weather was just right over the weekend.

^^We were told not to look back until we got to the very top and that the view gives you the best view of the London skyline... they werent lying.^^

^^Not a bad view, eh.^^
^^Sending off the routine postcards, with love.^^

Look at my buys! The pants are my new favoriteee!

London always reminds me of you and the winter of 2010. I think it was one of the best winter seasons of my time in the UK and the best of us. Even if we did nearly freeze our fingers and toes off!

Lots of love,
Peja xx
