Homecoming.

Another weekend away from Hastings, this time it was a homecoming visit back to my favorite city Manchester! It was going to be a four day business/catch up weekend because I had to attend the consultant clinic to have my awesome whizzies (wisdom teeth) out. Being the absolute wuss that I am when it comes to sitting myself in the dental chair, I had it done under sedation and that was so much fun! Really! My chaperoning friends thought it was really funny to film me as I was coming out of sedation and I'll save you all the stitches you'll get from watching the video. Too embarrassing even for my standards!

The rest of the weekend was spent catching up with some familiar faces in town. Gosh, I have missed having these people around! Being back in the rainy city definitely felt like a treat to myself after working so hard for the past month :P Not much has changed since the last time I was there (about a month ago?! Lol) and I made the most of the short stay meeting up with as many people as I could think of while enjoying my favorite pastime of eating. Lots of eating, regardless of the fat face I had. I have neglected to take pictures of all the stuff I ate over the weekend, sorry.I know how much everyone loves pictures of food. Just kidding. but I had the best time consuming a lot of calories. All of them. It felt good to be back in the city where halal meat isnt a rare commodity.

Best way to end the weekend? Some retail therapy of course! It was a good weekend. It was great to be back, Manchester! I have missed you! and hopefully I shall see you soon again, insyaAllah!
