Look who came to visit for a big cuddle!! My favorite nurse Lianne who left me to have her first baby dropped by the practice on Friday last week to let us all go goo-goo over this tiny creature that popped out of her! About four weeks ago when I first got the news that she had become a first time mom, I texted her straight away saying, "I heard the stork made a delivery to yours. I'm so happy for you!! I think Fletcher is a beautiful name...although I think you could have definitely made Hafizah work for a boy! Btw, I'm getting you some earplugs for christmas. They'll be of good use when he starts finding his voice!" And Lianne, quick with her retort said, "Yes, the stork made a very quick delivery! Didnt the girls (the other nurses) tell you that his middle name is Hafizah?!" So of course when she came in with little Fletch, I couldnt resist self-claiming important godmother duties. Lol! Just look at him!
^^can you believe this woman gave birth just a little over four weeks ago! Glowing and in such good shape too, Its like it never happened! Dont you just envy people who never put on weight.^^
I asked Lianne when she plans on coming back and being my right hand again, but I think she is thoroughly enjoying just being Fletch's doting mother at the moment. I can remember her being really worried before leaving but even though its her first, she looked so in her element and comfortable with her little baby it just melted my heart. I know, I'm getting soft nowadays arent i.
uh-oh. my maternal instincts are starting to kick in. help!
