Tis the season to be jolly.

I apologize for the crickets on this page but I have been super busy this month coming up to the holidays. Work has been keeping me occupied mostly so there probably wont be as many pictures to share with you guys as I would normally do. And there probably wouldnt be much to interest you guys into reading any way so lol. Now that we're into the month of December, the temperatures have been dropping to just above freezing and its getting a tad bit difficult to get out from under the covers everyday. But I am soldiering on and still finding joy coming in to work. Partly because of the people who make my job so enjoyable.

^^We brushed off the dust and cobwebs from the Christmas decoration at the practice and spruced it up with some glitsy silver, red and green tinsel to get us all into the festive mood. We even managed to get the Christmas tree to light up!

We had also had the annual Toadhall Sugery Christmas dinner at Webbe's restaurant by the seafront over the weekend. My boss runs two practices in total and it was nice to see everyone together, out of our scrubs and tunics for a change. And I must say, everyone cleaned up pretty nicely! The nurses had their hair down, all dolled up while I got acquaint myself better with some of the dentists who normally works in the other practice. Being a social caterpillar in this small town, and unless you consider dentists with poster-worthy, bedazzling smiles as glamorous, I dont get a chance to dress up and feel pretty very often. So when an opportunity presented itself with the annual dinner, I couldnt resist.

^^Other than that, I've been falling more and more in adoration with this small little town (darn it, I knew this would happen!) And why not when you come across views like this on such a regular basis. I was cycling home from town one evening, I'm tryna get any sorta exercise nowadays even it means bundling up in my woolly scarf and mittens and braving the piercing winter cold for a 30minute ride-out with Portia, and I just had to stop to take this all in. The colors that made up the sky this particular evening was ridiculously beautiful man, it couldnt have been more humbling.
^^Just look at that! All praise to Allah, The Almighty^^
