So the other day I was walking around London and the weather was just right. Right, meaning that it drizzly rained in the morning and the sun peeked out from behind fluffy clouds a bit later in the day and it turned out to be a lovely weekend in London.
To be honest, I have been a little bit knackered ever since I got back from my Malaysian break. The workload with the postgraduate certificate, the travels for work and leisure alike, and also some personal life choices that I have had to really think about has pushed me to the brink of exhaustion and unfortunately has sucked a little bit of passion out of life for me. The break was a good boost but somehow I seem to not fully recover from the withdrawal of it all.
But, as of yesterday, summer has officially started and the south is expecting a supposed heatwave this week so I am looking forward for a bit more vitamin D and hopefully the good weather will lift my spirits up too. If its one thing I can vouch about it being better down here is the good weather. I took a bit of a stroll with Portia the other day and also treated myself to nice ice cream cone by the pebbly beach.
Hastings has been particularly generous with the good weather as of late, as you can see. I'm expecting a couple more guests as well this weekend so I'm definitely praying that the good weather holds up so that I could explore the coast with some good company! I cant believe in a couple of months, all this will be over. Hastings has been a good chapter of my life, but I'm ready for bigger things.
Keep watching this space.
